About AllUnits.io

AllUnits.io turns your measurements into a materials list. Enter the dimensions of your slab, fence, deck, or lawn; get what to buy — bags, boards, yards, and tons — with the math shown and every factor cited.

What the site is

Two tools in one:

Where the numbers come from

No factor on this site is invented or copied from another calculator. Calculator math uses manufacturer data sheets, building codes, and trade standards:

Converter factors follow the primary metrology sources: the BIPM SI Brochure, NIST SP 811 (inch = 25.4 mm exactly, pound = 0.45359237 kg exactly), and IEC/ISO 80000 for digital prefixes. Currency rates come from a public mid-market API — confirm with your bank before moving money. Every source, with links, is on the Sources & Methods page. Figures that are typical rather than standardized — aggregate densities, sod pallet sizes — are labeled that way on the page, and your supplier's numbers govern.

Who builds it

AllUnits.io is operated by BT Enterprises, a small independent web publisher. The site is built and maintained by Bryan Telford. Questions, corrections, or calculator requests are welcome at support@allunits.io or via the feedback form. Corrections are taken seriously — a wrong yield number means a wrong purchase, so reports of bad math get fixed first.

Planning, not engineering

Every calculator here estimates materials for planning and purchasing. None of them size structures: no joist spans, no footing loads, no wall engineering. Where a tool touches code territory — stairs, retaining walls, stud spacing — it cites the code section and tells you when a permit office or engineer has the final word. Confirm structural work with your local building department.

Privacy & ads

No account, no tracking of who uses which tool, and calculator inputs never leave your browser — the math runs client-side. The site is supported by minimal display advertising; no interstitials or popups, and no ads inside embedded calculators.
